Gaydar USED to be a great site, then they changed everything and now it is rubbish. The site is now full of Russians, e-mail address collectors and Scammers. Just not worth using anymore, and certainly not worth paying for.
is not great any more.
used to be a terrific site. Since then it’s become over-complicated, difficult to use and seems endlessly to be experiencing software problems. Frankly, it’s a bit of a mess these days. Pity; it used to be the go-to site for online gay dating. WARNING: Try it for the shortest available subscription period before committing. When you discover the site’s shortcomings and politely ask to be reimbursed and released from a longer deal, they turn out to be less helpful than your average mobile phone provider. Knowing what I now know about I wouldn’t have dreamed of subscribing.
Legit!
Totally disagree with most other reviews. is a reliable and legit dating site. No doubt about it. IMO sites like (but also ) are the only real alternative to Grindr. Didn’t find what I was looking for so far but in general no complain. Works really good.
Unreliable and untrustworthy
Not worth paying for. Site always goes down. Too many people are rude and ignorant. Supposed to be to chat but its too unpleasant. I won’t be paying for membership. When doing some research I discovered the company that owns Gaydar company applied to be struck off from companies house so its obvious where that’s going Shame. good in theory, rubbish in practise.
Hello Charles. Please contact us with your specific concerns as we would like to work with you to resolve these. As a matter of record, the owners of Gaydar are fully registered at Companies House and there are no plans to change this. For those that wish to check this, please contact the Companies House site for more information.
Self-inflicted disaster
Many moons ago I was a daily user of Gaydar, then they ruined it. Changed the entire interface into something hideous and unusable and lost 95% of their visitors overnight.
In all my time as an internet user, I don’t think I’ve seen such a disastrous, self-inflicted destruction of a fully functioning and popular website.
They must know the horrendous mistake they made, so it baffles me why they don’t accept defeat and go back to the original format. Crazy.
Gaydar – How the mighty have fallen
Gaydar used to be the best gay meeting place on the net, and was so for decades. Now it is complete rubbish.Messaging doesn’t work on mobile app, IE, Firefox or Chrome.Browsing guys doesn’t work on gorgeousbrides.net ursprungliga webbplatsen IE.Viewing guys’ profiles doesn’t work on Firefox.Don’t waste your time and definitely don’t waste your money by paying for this new, ‘improved’ monstrosity! Whoever designed and created the website needs to go on a basic web design course and try again.
A TOTALLY DYSFUNCTIONAL and INOPERABLE…
This website should not be Taking Anyones Money!A 7 year old could have created better, with functions that actually work.
HOWEVER You may find that behind the Scenes the Directors have actually been building up a Competition Website. on the back of their Deliberate Demise of Gaydar. Because they don,t actually own Gaydar.
New Interface Sucks Bigtime!
I used the old gaydar happily for many years, allowed a wide array of searching/chatting options, and let your browse into different chat areas easily.
The new mobile interface is truly awful. Don’t waste your time using it. What I cannot understand is why they have migrated their web and mobile interface to look identical. It is so badly designed, that it beggars belief.
